USAC Western States Midget Point Battle Resumes At Ventura

JUNE 18, 2019... After a schedule break, the USAC Western States Midgets will battle at Ventura Raceway, this Saturday, June 22nd. Promoted by Jim Naylor, the fourth point race is the first of four appearances at the 1/5-mile oval. Saturday's event will also feature the VRA Dwarf Cars, VRA Senior Sprints, IMCA Modifieds, and Focus / WMR Midgets. The Pit Gates will open at Noon, the Front Gates will open at 3:00pm, and Racing at "The Best Little Dirt Track in America" is set for 5:30pm. Eureka, CA (June 18, 2019) – Contenders and pretenders are starting to shake out in the points standings for all six local divisions at Redwood Acres Raceway for the 2019 season. Every race during the season is important and carries prestige but this Saturday’s event will mean just a bit more with the racing action on the 3/8-mile paved oval coinciding with the annual Redwood Acres Best Of Humboldt Fair.

North State Modifieds Go North To Shasta Speedway

Anderson, CA…..Ending their Southern California swing last week, which included races at both Stockton 99 Speedway and Madera Speedway, The North State Modified Series, presented by Protect the Harvest, will be moving north to Shasta Speedway in Anderson, CA this Saturday night for race #6 of the 2019 Driving Out Cancer Awareness Tour. The event will be a part of the Shasta County Fair festivities, and will be the first of two appearances for NSMS at this three-eighth mile paved oval.

Eureka, CA (June 17, 2019) – For the second straight season, the Humboldt Outlaw Karts will be competing during the Redwood Acres Fair. Dave’s Auto Electric and Crawford Construction Specialties will be presenting the big event which will have a bit more prestige this season as it will be the first year the karts will be racing on the purpose-built 1/10-mile dirt Bullring. The outlaws will be a feature attraction on the final day of this year’s fair and will likely attract fans who have yet to experience the thrills provided by all of the divisions for the Humboldt Outlaw Karts.

Knittel Takes Over NSMS Points Lead With Madera Win

Madera CA... June 15, 2019.... Coming off a victory at Stockton 99 Speedway two weeks ago, Robbie Knittel of Lodi drove the Ferrari Farms #24 modified to his second straight $1000 victory at Madera Speedway Saturday night as the North State Modified Series, presented by Protect the Harvest, completed race #5 of the 2019 Driving Out Cancer Awareness Tour. Knittel also set fast time of 15.117 seconds and took over the NSMS points lead by two points over Cameron Austin of Santa Rosa.

Madera, CA..... June 15, 2019….. The second of three NSMS / Madera Hobby Stock Challenge races was held at Madera Speedway Saturday night, and it was Steve Schermerhorn of Oakhurst who drove to victory in the Gone Fishin’ Marine 50 lap feature event to pocket $750 for his efforts.

Jeremy Doss Rules Roseville In NASCAR Late Model Debut

ROSEVILLE, Calif. (June 15, 2019) – Upperlake, CA’s Jeremy Doss made the most of his first NASCAR Late Model weekend at All American Speedway, winning the second 35 lap feature after finishing second in the opening race, before a packed house in Roseville on Saturday night. The multi-time touring stock car champion stood out among a field of 20 drivers from across the western United States battling for NASCAR state and national points on the one-third mile asphalt oval.

SANTA MARIA, CA - JUNE 15, 2019... Regaining the lead from Jake Swanson on lap 21, Tristan Guardino (Fremont, CA) claimed the "Ron Otto Memorial" at Santa Maria Raceway. Driving the family owned #15T Dorso's Automotive / Allied Auto Stores Maxim, Guardino extended his point lead with his third USAC West Coast Sprint Car victory of the season. Fast qualifier Swanson, T.J. Smith, Troy Rutherford, and Cody Majors rounded out the top-five drivers.
