Uselton Plans To Overcome Adversity As 2019 Season Nears End

Eureka, CA (July 25, 2019) – 2019 has been a season of major change for young MKinzy Uselton. The Eureka native came into the year with a new confidence after participating in the Lakeport Indoor Outlaw Kart circuit through the winter months. That experience has helped carry her to perhaps her most successful season behind the wheel in her Legend car at Redwood Acres Raceway and her 250cc outlaw kart with the Humboldt Outlaw Karts.

MADERA, CALIFORNIA (July 23, 2019) – Madera Speedway is raising the stakes and turning up the heat this weekend with the $5,000 Summer Speedfest 100 for the MAVTV-televised Nut Up Pro Late Models. The prestigious event is expected to attract a healthy field of drivers battling on the one-third mile asphalt oval. They will be joined by the sixth round of the 2019 51FIFTY Jr. Late Model Series plus Modified Super Toyotas and Mini Cups vs. Bandoleros.

There was plenty of exciting racing but several major incidents punctuated the event as well. McMurray And Sons presented the event which featured the North State Modified Series and the Upstate Bomber Series along with Bandoleros, roadrunners, mini stocks and Legends.

Cameron Austin Back To Back Victories With North State Modifieds

Eureka, CA…. July 20, 2019….. Coming back from his victory at All American Speedway two weeks ago, North State Modified Series points leader Cameron Austin of Santa Rosa held off the challenges of veteran Lucas Oil Modified driver Scott Winters of Tracy for 40 laps to win his second NSMS season feature event at Redwood Acres Raceway in Eureka Saturday night. Austin collected $1800 for his efforts which included $500 from McMurray & Sons Roofing, and a $300 cash bonus from North Coast Lighting and Electric. He also earned the $100 Keyser Manufacturing Hard Charger award. The North State Modified Series is presented by Protect the Harvest.

(July 21, 2019) – Cameron Park’s Jason Romero extended his points lead while Upperlake’s Jeremy Doss grabbed his third Roseville victory, as the pair split the NASCAR Late Model Twin 35s on Saturday night at All American Speedway. Loren Chitwood won the $1000 to win Riebes Auto Parts Trailer Bash as well before an enthusiastic crowd of race fans at the one-third mile speedway.
