Three Races Remain For 2019 Season At Redwood Acres Raceway

Eureka, CA (August 8, 2019) – Racing returns to Redwood Acres Raceway Saturday night for the seventh event of 2019. This weekend’s event will mark the countdown to the championship for all six divisions as only three races will be left for the season. Papé Machinery and Papé Material Handling will be presenting the action and with the number of races quickly dwindling and points being so important, the action on the track is sure to be intense.

Garcia Racing Stepping Up To SRL Tour With Christian McGhee

LODI, CALIFORNIA (August 7, 2019) – Garcia Racing and Claremont’s Christian McGhee have teamed up to compete for the 2020 SPEARS SRL Southwest Tour championship. McGhee, age 21, returns to the series with 22 career starts including third-place in 2016 overall points and the 2016 Rookie of the Year. Mike and Larry Garcia will field the car with veteran crew chief Steve Teets on the wrenches.

Howard Holden Crowned Champion With Madera Win

Madera, CA…… August 3, 2009….. The 2019 North State / Madera Hobby Stock Challenge, presented by Gone Fishin’ Marine, concluded at Madera Speedway Saturday night with Howard Holden of Clovis not only taking the $750 win in the 50 lap feature, but collecting enough points to earn the championship in the three-race series. Going into the feature, Steve Schermerhorn of Oakhurst and Holden were only two points apart with Schermerhorn out in front in the standings.

Madera, CA…. August 3, 2019….. Scott Winters of Tracy set a new NSMS Hoosier Tire track record at Madera Speedway Saturday night and went on to win his first feature event in the North State Modified Series, presented by Protect the Harvest. Winters’ win bolted the Ferrari Farms team to a margin of only nine points behind Cameron Austin of Santa Rosa in the NSMS championship race. He also was named the Keyser Hard Charger for the night.
