Furia Making the Best of 2017

Lakeport, Calif. — Sierra Furia is gearing up for the last race of the season at the Las Vegas Bullring this weekend. Furia has made two Lucas Oil starts this past year and is looking to improve on the third. Furia has been the only female to enter into this race for the weekend.

“I always look forward to running the Bullring and coming to Las Vegas of course. We have had good runs with the North State, and looking forward to running with Lucas Oil. We did not have a lot of good luck when we ran at Madera as we had got caught up with another car in the North State main, that led us to only run 8 laps with them. I am hoping to regain the confidence and run up front this weekend”

This 2017 race season has been a rough but rewarding season as Furia had gained a lot of speed in the middle of the season to finish top 5 in the North State Modified Series points. “We definitely had a hard season but we did improve and were able to run up front. I look forward to racing every chance I get and even on the bad nights, we come home and restart for the next race. I am lucky to be racing this weekend with some of the best race car drivers and hopefully we can have a good finish”.
