SACRAMENTO, CALIFORNIA (October 12, 2016) - The Pacific Challenge Series presented by PenneyLawyers.com concludes its 2016 season with Saturday's non-points "October Classic 100" at the All American Speedway in Roseville, CA. One of the most highly anticipated events on the PCS calendar, the PCS Super Late Models are joined by the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West for its season finale "TOYOTA/NAPA Auto Parts 150 presented by TriCo Welding" for a huge night of racing. Legends of the Pacific and California Mini Cups are also scheduled to compete.

Jeremy Doss of Upperlake, CA, a 2016 member of the Kulwicki Driver Development program, just completed his second championship season with the PCS after winning the season finale at Ukiah Speedway en route to the title. Doss also won the 2012 PCS championship and his 2016 season has included three PCS wins and wins at the Montana 200 and the Eureka Fall Spectacular. The 19-time PCS main event winner won the 2014 October Classic when it was a points race but has not won a Roseville race since.

Doss' main rival at Roseville this year has been Jason Romero of Cameron Park, CA. Romero swept all three 2016 PCS races at the facility and is the 2009 track champion at the one-third mile. Romero and Doss traded the lead on four different occasions in an exciting September 24th points race at Roseville. Romero has led 89 laps total at the facility this year.

Modesto's Mike Beeler capped off his third straight top-two points finish in the PCS with the 2014 championship and second in the points for both 2015 and 2016. He has had perfect attendance throughout that stretch but no Roseville wins. He'd like to change that on Saturday night. The other driver aiming to change his Roseville fortunes is Tracy's Jeff Bischofberger who ran second in the September 24th event. Bischofberger finished third in the PCS standings despite still driving for his first series win.

The other drivers with local ties set to battle include the potent father-and-son duo of John and Cole Moore. The Granite Bay drivers race identically prepared Camaros with John winning the 2015 PCS championship and he is also the defending winner of the October Classic 100. Son Cole, the Sacramento State student, will race double-duty in both the K&N West for Bill McAnally Racing and in the PCS event. He was the 2015 PCS Rookie of the Year but is yet to visit PCS victory lane in his career.

Three-time All American Speedway track champion Matt Scott also figures to be in the mix on Saturday night. Scott previously won a Late Model event held over the K&N weekend before it was sanctioned by the PCS, but an SLM win would be a nice boost for his stellar resume. He has four top-tens in six PCS starts at Roseville with career best finish of second.

Roseville's Eric Schmidt is the 2013 PCS champion but has also never won a PCS race at his home track, where he is a multiple time track champion as well. In seven career Roseville starts he has a best finish of second with four top-fives. He will drive a #29 Sierra Speed Chevrolet that Randy Hedrick last drove in the September 24th race.

The strong entry list also features multiple time Roseville Late Model race winner Travis Milburn, 2006 Westcar Late Model Series champion Shannon Mansch, Redwood Acres Raceway drivers Kenny Demello, Mic Moulton, and Ryun Leazer, Shasta regular Ryan Peeples, Joe McDonald aboard Mike Hite's #70, and many more. Several drivers not entered are expected to join the fold as well.

Activities will get underway on Friday with a scheduled optional practice session, pending weather. Hauler parking is tentatively planned to take place regardless of conditions with updates to be posted to the PCS and Bill McAnally Racing social media pages. If practice occurs as planned it will be $30 per pit pass with gates opening at 3 p.m. and practice from 5 p.m. - 9 p.m.

On Saturday morning, pit gates open at 10 a.m. with a pair of practices scheduled. Grandstand gates open at 4 p.m. when the PCS will stage a group qualifying session. The October Classic 100 is expected to go green at 7:10 p.m. The NASCAR K&N Pro Series, West will follow.

Tickets for the October Classic 100 can be pre-purchased at www.BMRNAPA.com Adults ages 12+ are $30 in advance, while Military will get a discount of $25 and kids 6-11 are $15. Kids 5 and under are FREE! All prices increase by $5 at the gate.
