iPull-u-Pull Challenge Part Of Busy October 1st Program At Madera

MADERA, CALIFORNIA (September 16, 2016) – LoanMart Madera Speedway has announced a major event for October 1st, with the inaugural iPull-u-Pull National Sprint Car Challenge for Winged Sprints highlighting an exciting program on the one-third mile asphalt oval. The $3000 to win, $500 to start Winged Sprint Car race will be enhanced by the inaugural West Coast Sportsman 75, BCRA Midgets, CSS 360 Super Modifieds, HPD Midgets, and Legends of Kearney Bowl. The track's regular Modified Super Toyotas (MSTs) and Toyota Sedans will also compete in their season finales.

iPull-u-Pull located in Fresno is a new sponsor for Madera Speedway. They offer CashForCars for end of life vehicles or vehicles for sale. They offer the industry's first 60-day Cash Back Guarantee and cater to both the general public and mechanics who needs parts.

The National Sprint Car Challenge will serve as the season finale for the Madera Western Winged Super Sprints and will be televised on MAVTV. Entries from across the western United States are expected. Teams are encouraged to pre-enter by calling (209) 356-1968 or emailing kshepherd@racemadera.com This will be the third consecutive year that Madera has hosted national Winged Sprint Car competition to close its open wheel-portion of the schedule and has previously produced some of the most action packed racing in track history. The 2014 edition was notably a non-stop 40 lap feature.

At press time Sacramento's Tom Baker leads the Madera points while still searching for his first win. Gerhardt Classic winner Cody Gerhardt, rookie Justin Kawahata, and the father and son duo of Nevada's Bob and Al Beck round out the top-five in the points. Glenn Hutchison's entry has earned a combined 156 points between his son Dylan and Idaho driver Bryan Warf sharing driving duties. Clovis' AJ Russell and Dylan Noble are another series regulars.

The inaugural West Coast Sportsman event will be a split 75 lap race with a 50 lap opening segment followed a 25 lap segment later in the program. West Coast Sportsman mirrors many of the cost-saving procedures of the LoanMart Late Models such as one set of tires per race weekend. The West Coast Sportsman is a team-driven initiative of former steel and composite bodied West Series-type cars. This non-points event is shaping up to feature several local Madera drivers in competition as a test race for a possible 2017 season for the cars. Teams that compete in the October 1st opener each receive four free pit passes to ease their transition into the series.

360 Super Modified fans should be treated to a strong field as well with CSS officials confirming an increased car count is expected. The BCRA Midgets have had a thrilling and competitive season made up of many long-time veterans to the sport along with several drivers that race double-duty across Sprints and Midgets. Entry level USAC HPD Midgets have been a battle between the Breidinger sisters and Jesse Love IV while the Legends of Kearney Bowl is one of the best vintage exhibition series on the planet with large fields of vintage Super Modifieds.

Female drivers anchor the top of the Toyota Sedan field with Jilliaun Holden and Lucy Carmona, while Kevin Thompson is closing in on yet another MST track championship.

All of the above comprises one very busy night at the MAVTV-televised LoanMart Madera Speedway!
