Dave Grayson's Hot Racing Tickets for September 10th

It's going to be another weekend loaded with excitement for fans who prefer watching their racing on paved short tracks. From southern California to the top of northern Oregon, the upcoming weekend is filled with racing featuring every division from bomber stocks to high powered sprint cars. Enjoy it fellow race fans, let's go out this weekend and support our local race tracks.

ALL AMERICAN SPEEDWAY. 1/4 MILE. ROSEVILLE, CA. www.allamericanspeedway.com SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 10TH.

The All American returns to action this Saturday night treating their fans to on track action from their Street Stock, Bomber, F 4, NCMA Sprint Car and Limited Modified divisions. The spectator gates will open at 4 pm with the green flag falling on the racing action at 6 pm.
Adult tickets, age 16 to 59. are $10. Tickets for seniors, age 60 plus, and kids, age 6 to 15, are $7 with kids under 6 admitted free. The speedway also offers a family package, value priced at $35, which admits two adults and three kids.

DOUGLAS COUNTY SPEEDWAY. 4/10 MILE. ROSEBURG, OR. www.douglascountyspeedway.com SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 10TH.

It's championship night at Douglas County Speedway plus they will be presenting a special 9-11 remembrance tribute. The racing action will be provided by the Kodiak Bar Hornets, the Oakland Tavern Mini Stocks, Johnny's Drive In Hard Tops, Adcox Heating Pro 4 Wedges, Winchester Pub and Grill Street Stocks and the Scoreboard Tavern Modifieds. The spectator gates will open at 4 pm followed by qualifying at 430pm. The racing will receive the green flag at approximately 540 pm.

This speedway appears to be very budget friendly to its fans. General admission for adults are $10. Tickets for seniors, military personnel, veterans and youth age 5 to 16 are only $5. Kids 5 and under will be admitted free. The speedway also offers a family package, priced at a very low $20, which admits two adults and unlimited youth age 16 and under.

The IEC will be hosting the NASCAR First Responders Appreciation Night presented by Whelen Engineering and Seidner's Collision Centers. All first responders, with valid ID, will be admitted free this Saturday. This is the IEC's way of thanking these brave men and women who often place their very lives on the line in order to protect us during emergency situations.

The speedway will be backing up this program with a full racing schedule led by the Pick Your Part Late Model Late Models who will add to their season championship drama by racing for double points. The Legend Cars will also double their intensity as well by also racing for double points. Also on the busy race agenda will be the RACECAR Factory Spec Late Models, the Seidner's Collision Center's Irwindale Race Trucks along with a special guest appearance by the Robertson's Solar Southwest Tour Trucks. The front gates will open at 4 pm with racing scheduled to begin at 7 pm.

Pre sale adult tickets are currently available, via online or at the speedway office, for $10. These tickets will be priced at $15 on Saturday race day. Children's tickets are $5. There is also a $5, cash only, parking lot fee. Bring your dinner time appetites because the IEC concession stands will be offering $1 hot dogs and sodas along with $2 beer.

WAIT, THERE'S MORE. On September 8th, the IEC will convert the back part of their speedway into their 1/8th mile drag strip: the home of their NHRA Thursday Night Thunder program. This special program is open to all street legal vehicles and sends the powerful message: race the strip and not the streets. The spectator gates will open at 4 pm followed by five hours of drag racing from 5 to 10pm. This very important program is budget friendly. Drivers can race all night for a $20 entry fee while spectators can watch them race for a $10 race ticket.

WAIT, HERE'S EVEN MORE. Following Saturday night's oval racing, the IEC staff will again set up their drag strip in order to present round 6 of the NHRA Summit Racing Series on Sunday, September 11th. Featured racing divisions will be the Pro, Pro Bike, Sportsman and Super Pros. The spectator gates will open at 9 am followed by time trials at 1015 am and elimination runs at 1 pm. Ticket prices are $10 for adults, $5 for kids 6 to 12 with kids under 5 admitted free.

The KCRWP will be hosting Eyewitness News At The Races and 9-11 Tribute presented by KBAK TV and Fox Channel 58 this Saturday night. First responder groups will be taking a tribute lap in their vehicles, with lights and sirens on, in remembrance of all those lost on 9-11.

The NASCAR sanctioned racing action will be provided by the raceway's Late Model, Super Stock, Spec Mod, Mini Stock and the special 911 Racing Series Chiefs Race. There will also be a special exhibition from the very exciting, slideways, Just Drift program. The spectator gates will open at 5 pm with the green flag falling on the racing at 7 pm. LAS VEGAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY BULLRING. 3/8 MILE. LAS VEGAS, NV. www.lvms.com/bullring. SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 10TH.

It's Back To School Night at the Bullring. All Students, staff and faculty, from Las Vegas area schools, colleges and universities will be admitted free Saturday night with valid ID's. The evening also includes special give aways and raffle prizes.

There's also going to be plenty of Vegas style racing. The evening will begin and end with the NASCAR Super Late Models who will be running twin, 35 lap, main events. Also on the schedule will be the NASCAR sanctioned Super Stocks, Bombers and Grand American Modifieds along with the USLCI Legends, Bandoleros and Thunder Roadsters.

The spectator gates will open at 5 pm followed by racing at 7 pm. General admission tickets are $8. Additional ticket information is available via the speedway's website or by calling 1 702 644 4444.
Also the fan friendly concession stand will be serving up $2 hot dogs and Coca Cola products along with $3 Budweiser products.

There's going to be plenty of racing magic at Magic Valley when they present a full Saturday evening of action featuring the the Cactus Pete Late Models, the National Guard Super Stocks, the Project Filter Street Stocks, Quale's Electronics Junior Stingers and the Extreme Staffing Double Deckers. The spectator gates will open at 5 pm followed by qualifying at 630 pm and racing at 7pm.

Here's yet another speedway that is very fan friendly at the ticket gate. General admission tickets, age 13 and up, are $10. Tickets for seniors, age 62 and up, are $5. Kids tickets, age 6 to 12, are priced at only $1. Military personnel, with valid ID, are always admitted free at Magic Valley.

Meridian's Saturday night schedule will feature racing from the NASCAR Whelen All American Series Modifieds, the Pepsi Crate Car/Super 6 Challenge Race, the Dee Forrey Memorial CWI Super/Streets, the CWI High School Tuners and the Tates Rent Hornets. This action evening is being presented by Jack's Links Meat Snacks. The spectator gates will open at 4 pm followed by racing at 630 pm.

Adult general admission tickets are $10.50 while tickets for seniors, age 62 plus, and military personnel are $8. Kids tickets, age 7 to 11, are $6.50 with kids 6 and under admitted free. The speedway also offers a family pass, priced at $30, that admits two adults and up to 4 kids age 7 to 11.

The historic OSS continues to roll through a very exciting season of good racing shows. This Saturday night they will be treating their fans to on track action from their Open Late Model, 1 800 Loan Mart Street Stock, Mini Stock, Bandolero, OSS Modified along with the always fun Barber Pole race.

The very full day begins with a 1 pm practice session for all divisions followed by qualifying at 3 pm, heat races at 6 pm, trophy dashes at 7 pm followed by main events going green at 8 pm. General admission tickets are $10.

SOUTH SOUND SPEEDWAY. 3/8 MILE. ROCHESTER, WA. www.southsoundspeedway.com SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 10TH.

Saturday night racing at the fastest three-eighths mile track in the northwest will be headlined by the Super Late Models who will treat their fans to a 100 lap main event. Also on the race agenda will be the Bumblebees, the Super 4's and the Outlaw Compact Super Series. The spectator gates will open at 445 pm followed by racing at 630 pm.

General admission tickets, age 18 plus, are $14. Tickets for seniors, age 62 plus, military personnel and teens, age 13 to 17, are $12. Kids tickets, age 6 to 12, are $7 with kids 5 and under admitted free.

Saturday night racing at Stockton 99 will feature on track action from their Stockton Late Model Series, Bomber, Grand American Modified and Basic 4 Cylinder divisions. The spectator gates will open at 5 pm followed by racing at 6 pm.

General admission tickets for adults, age 16 plus, are $15. Tickets for seniors, age 65 plus, military personnel with valid ID and Juniors, age 11 to 15, are $10. Kids age 10 and under will be admitted free.

The Lakeport-Ukiah Speedway Challenge Series, presented by Furia Motorsports, returns to Ukiah this Saturday night featuring on track action from their Bandolero, Bomber, Jammer, Legend, Modified and Pro 4 divisions. The spectator gates will open at 330 pm. Qualifying rounds will begin at 5 pm followed by the racing.

General admission tickets are $12. Tickets for seniors, age 60 plus, and students, with valid ID, are $9. Kids tickets, age 5 to 11, along with first responders, with valid ID, are $6. Toddlers and infants will be admitted free. A family package, priced at $30, is available and admits 2 adults and 3 kids.

It's going to be a hot night of racing at Wenatchee this Saturday night highlighted by the Northwest Super Late Model Series who will run the Neal Newberry 125. Also on the race agenda will be the Dick's Heating and Air Conditioning Thunder Cars and the WESCO Sprint Cars. This evening of Saturday night racing is being presented by the Clearwater Saloon and Casino, EZ's Burger Deluxe and Mountain Dew. The spectator gates will open at 5 pm with the racing going green at 630 pm.

Adult tickets are $20 and $18 for seniors and students. Kids tickets, age 6 to 12, are $8 while kids 5 and under will be admitted free. This special event also features a family pass, priced at $50, which admits two adults and four kids. Tickets are currently available via online.
