WINTER SHOWDOWN SCHEDULE – The 2018 Winter Showdown detailed schedule of events has been released.

WINTER SHOWDOWN ENTRY – Order in which entries are received will determine the order teams will enter tech inspection on Thursday at the Showdown.

TIRES – For the 2018 Winter Showdown, teams will be allowed to scuff both sets of tires they will have in their pit for the 300 lap event. Teams will start Saturday’s Winter Showdown 300 on their qualifying tires. Maximum three set for the 300 laps. The Hoosier 3035 lefts and 3045 rights will be used in 2018.
CONTROLLED PIT STOPS – Once again, ‘Controlled Pit Stops’ will be utilized for the Winter Showdown.
WINTER SHOWDOWN TESTING POLICY – Teams will only be allowed two test days from December 1st, 2017 to January 31st, 2018 at Kern County Raceway. To schedule testing, contact Kern County Raceway at 661-835-1264.
LATE MODELS and SUPER STOCKS – Kern County Raceway Late Models and Super Stocks have been added to the 2018 Winter Showdown schedule of events, with both divisions competing Friday night, February 2nd after Winter Showdown pole qualifying.
WINTER SHOWDOWN TICKETS ON SALE – Tickets for the “Fourth Annual Winter Showdown” will go on sale this Friday, December 1st at 10am, at www.KernRaceway.com.

2017 CHAMPIONSHIP BANQUET – On Saturday afternoon, January 20th, the Top Ten drivers in the 2017 SPEARS Southwest Tour Series Championship will be honored at Buck Owens Crystal Palace. For the first time ever, the top drivers from Kern County Raceway’s 2017 season will also be honored.
OPEN TEST DAY – On Sunday, January 21st, an open test day for the Winter Showdown will take place at Kern County Raceway.
